The company was registered in February 2006 to carry out Biocomplex * project which is one of the largest projects of the “Group of companies “Titan” in the agro-industrial sphere. The main activity of the company is production of bioproducts through deep processing of grain crops.

The Agreement on Cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and the Government of Omsk region concerning Biocomplex project was signed in Omsk in March 2007. Two months later the State Corporation “Bank of Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)” and the regional government signed an agreement on long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties in the investment sphere on the territory of Omsk region. The Biocomplex project was identified as one of the areas of lending by the bank.

Since July 2008 “Titan-Agro” has been constructing the first stage facilities of Biocomplex, among them:
- pig breeding complex (on the territory of the Omsk region, near the villages Petrovka Trusovka and Kalinovka)
- feed mill.

In 2010 it is planned to start construction of Poultry complex.
“Titan-Agro” Ltd is investing in the state program of agricultural development, which is the first-priority national project involving state corporation “Bank of Development and Foreign Economic Activity (Vnesheconombank)”.

* The structure of Biocomplex includes the following items:
- a feed mill with production capacity of 100 000 tons of feed a year;
- a pig complex with production capacity of 10 000 tons of meat a year;
- a poultry complex with production capacity of 15 000 tons of meat a year;
- a meat packing plant with the possibility of production more than 26 000 tons of meat year;
- a plant of deep processing of grain and the production of high-oxygen-containing additives for motor fuel - ETBE (330 000 tons per year), related bio-products - gluten (20 000 tons per year), carbon dioxide (up to 115 thousand tons per year), dry distiller’s grains (270 000 tons per year);
- facilities for the production of organic and amino acids, enzymes and other bioproducts.
