According to monitoring data released by Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the production of synthetic rubber in 2016 increased by 5.4% in comparison with the level of 2016, and plastics output increased by 5%. The growth was showed by the largest petrochemical companies of the region - PJSC "Omsky kauchuk" and LLC "Poliom", the joint venture of GC "Titan", SIBUR and "Gazprom Neft".
New heavy-duty heat exchanger (made in Russia) was put into operation for the purposes of condenser unit modernization at butadiene production shop of PJSC ‘Omsky Kauchuk’. It consumes a quarter less of industrial recirculation water than the old one.
The trial batch of feed concentrate PZK-90 for feeding of young rabbits was produced at the feed mill ‘Pushkinsky’.
Omsk polypropylene plant, the joint venture of GC ‘Titan’, SIBUR and ‘Gazprom neft’ (‘Poliom’ LLC), summed up its preliminary operating results for 2016.
Due to the measures that optimized work schedule and plant’s operation mode and due to the installation of new equipment, the production increased from 3 to 5 tons per shift.
Preliminary results of GC ‘Titan’ export activity in regard to sales of petrochemicals in 2016 are summarized. Export revenues increased by 43% compared to 2015, and the volume increased more than twice.
